How do I allocate a become.1 Flex access?

You can allocate flex access and monthly budgets for individual and multiple employees.

You can see how this works in the following section:

There are two options here:

  1. Standard budgets without limiting the budgets per sub-module or restricting the use of some areas, such as mobility submissions only for the public transport sector
  2. Create your own template

Use of the become.1 standard template

  1. Go to the user administration

  2. Select the employees for whom a flex budget is to be made accessible via the checkbox on the left-hand side of the table

  1. Now click on Flex above the table

  2. Now either select the standard template for maximum utilisation of the activated tax benefits or create a new individual template for a specific employee group or for all employees

  3. You can deactivate individual components for this template via Configure at the top right:

  1. Confirm the value (monthly budget) below as well as the start date and optionally an end date.

  2. As a last option, you can decide at the bottom what should happen with unused monthly budget. If you tick the checkbox for Unused budget will be carried over to the next month, this means, for example, that if €80 is used (of the €100 available each month), the remaining €20 will be carried over to the following month (and €120 will then be available for the user in the following month). The saved budget is cancelled at the end of the year at the latest.

Use of a self-created template

  1. Click on Flex after you have selected an employee in the user administration
  2. Now click on +Template in the top right-hand corner to create a new template

3. now select whether all sub-areas of Flex should be used for the template and click on next – if you deselect modules here, the employee will not be able to use this area later with this Flex template

4. now you can set budget restrictions per module – click through each area and confirm your desired budget specifications and restrictions

Notes:

If I remove the checkbox next to Maximum budget per day, month and year, the solution is based on the current maximum tax conditions.

5. as a final step, give your template a name so that you can assign it later and you’re done!
